FAQs

What age can my child start gymnastics?

Children can begin as early as 2.5 years old in our Baby Gymnastics classes, where they are introduced to basic movement skills, coordination, and balance through fun and engaging activities.

For children aged 5 to 15, we offer a range of programmes including Beginner, Recreational, Developmental, and Competitive gymnastics, depending on their experience and training goals.

For those aged 15 and above, we also offer Adult Open Classes for individuals interested in learning or continuing gymnastics in a relaxed training environment.

No prior experience is required. Our Baby/Beginner and Recreational classes are designed for children who are new to gymnastics.

We maintain a coach-to-student ratio of approximately 1:8 to ensure each child receives proper guidance and attention during training.

We currently operate at two locations:

Grantral Mall – MacPherson
Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS) – Stevens

You can message us directly on WhatsApp and our team will help you choose the most suitable class and arrange a trial.

Yes, boys are welcome to join our programmes.

Boys will train alongside girls in our classes, as we currently do not run separate boys-only sessions. Our Baby, Beginner, Recreational, Adult, and Trampoline classes are open to boys.

At the moment, we do not offer competitive programmes for boys.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes. We offer a 15% sibling discount, applied to the lower training fee.

For families with multiple children enrolled, the discount will be applied to each sibling except the child with the highest training fee.

For pricing information, please text us on Whatsapp at +65 8368 5156.

Can my child move around different timeslots and locations?

Yes, students may attend classes on different days or at different locations subject to availability. However, we recommend choosing a regular timeslot and location whenever possible. This helps with administrative tracking and allows your child to train consistently with the same coach and group of peers, which supports better learning and progress.

If you have difficulty aligning your child’s schedule with our available class timings, feel free to message us and we will do our best to help find a suitable arrangement.

If your child is unable to attend a lesson, please inform us in advance whenever possible. We will do our best to arrange a make-up class, subject to availability.

For longer absences due to injury, illness, or overseas travel, please let us know the estimated number of lessons that will be missed and when your child is expected to return, so we can assist with suitable arrangements.

Our gym is closed on public holidays.

For most school holidays, classes will continue as usual. The only exception is our SCGS location, which will be closed from 15–31 December each year.

If you are unsure whether your child’s class is running during a specific holiday period, you may always check with us via WhatsApp.

What should my child wear for class?

Children should wear comfortable sportswear that allows free movement.

Examples include:

  • T-shirt and shorts

  • Leotard

  • Athletic wear

Long hair should be tied back and accessories should not be worn during training.

Yes, of course! Our coaches will be happy to share their feedback after your child’s trial session.

If it’s not convenient to speak right after the class, you can simply drop us a message, and we will follow up with the coach and update you via WhatsApp.

Are there opportunities to compete?

Yes. For students in our Competitive programmes, we encourage participation in competitions to gain valuable experience and exposure.

Throughout the year, our gymnasts have the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions such as:

  • National Championships

  • Prime Gymnastics Competition

  • Singapore Open

  • Gym Carnival

  • Gym Classic

  • Gym Challenge (For Recreational students)

These competitions allow students to develop confidence, showcase their progress, and gain experience performing in a competitive environment.

(Coming soon)

Our coaches regularly monitor each child’s progress during training and will recommend progression when they are ready.

If you would like an update on your child’s development, feel free to speak to our coaches after class. If they are occupied, you may leave us a message, and we will get back to you with feedback from the coach.

Students are generally grouped based on age / skill level, depending on the class size and the number of coaches available.

For our Competitive programmes, gymnasts are grouped according to their respective competition levels to ensure that each athlete receives appropriate coaching and training suited to their development stage.

While the majority of our students are female, we do have boys actively participating in our classes, and they are fully integrated into training.

If you would like more information about the gender ratio for specific timeslots, feel free to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to advise.
